This pretty pink handbag cake was ordered by a lady named Diane for her 30th birthday party in Monasterevin.  The cake itself is chocolate sponge, filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream.  It was covered in a thin layer of buttercream  and  in light pink sugarpaste icing.  I then did made all the seams, zip and stitching to look like a quilted Chanel handbag.
