Ann ordered this 6-inch top-tier cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for her son’s Christening in Maynooth.  I made building blocks with Ben’s name on them, and there is a little toy train going around the top of the cake too.  I made the blue and white cupcakes with little stars and some edible glitter sprinkled on top.  She also hired the cupcake stand from me for the big day.

The top tier cake is a 6-inch vanilla sponge, filled with vanilla buttercream and covered with sugarpaste.  The cupcakes are a mixture vanilla sponge and chocolate sponge, topped with vanilla buttercream.
