I made this birthday cake in the shape of an ice-pop for my brother Kevin.  Since we’re at the tail-end of Summer, I thought a summery cake would be nice.  I thought he’d appreciate how it looks like someone took a bite out of it, although I didn’t… I swear! 

The cake itself was a 10 x 4″ truffle cake (mixture of vanilla and chocolate sponge, and vanilla buttercream).
