I made this 3-tier wedding cake for a lovely lady called Sally, and her fiancé Paul (Binzer) for their wedding in Tinahealy.  Sally is a chef and food stylist, who does all the DIY at home, and Binzer is a drummer in a band.  Their two kids, Jake and Tilly are represented on the cake too – Jake loves birds and Tilly loves all things pink, and handbags!  I made little figurines of all of them on the cake – Binzer behind his drum kit, Sally in her chef’s hat holding a paintbrush, Jake with birds standing on his arms, and Tilly dressed in pink with a little handbag beside her.  They were all delighted with the cake, so mission accomplished!!

The cake itself was a 12-inch, 10-inch and 8-inch red velvet cake.  It was filled with white chocolate ganache, and covered in sugarpaste.  All of the handmade little figurines are completely edible.
