This wedding cake was for my friends Carl and Elaine.  They wanted to be able to keep the cake topper after the wedding, so I handmade it from modelling clay, which will last forever.  Elaine sent me pictures of her wedding dress, and described what her bouquet would look like and what style of suit Carl would be wearing so that I could get the models to look as close to the real thing as possible. 

The cake itself was made up of 3 tiers. The bottom tier was chocolate biscuit cake, the middle one was red velvet with white chocolate ganache filling, and the top one was fruit cake.  It was great to be a guest at the wedding, and be able to see the reactions to the cake
