Séadh’s Christening cake with Converse booties

Aisling from Celbridge ordered this cake for her baby Séadh’s Christening.  I handmade the little Converse booties from modelling paste, so they are completely edible.  I also made the building blocks spelling out “Séadh Michael”.  There are little stars winding their way around the cake, and “Céad míle fáilte” (a hundred thousand welcomes in Irish) [...]


Boxing Gloves Christening Cake

Jade ordered this 2-tier cake for her son Nathan’s Christening.  She wanted a tiny pair of baby blue boxing gloves on top of the cake, along with building blocks spelling out his name.  I handmade the boxing gloves and blocks from sugarpaste, and finished off the cake with little stars swooshing around it.

Pink booties 2-tier Christening cake

This Christening cake was ordered for Méabh by her mother, Ciara, in Leixlip.  I handmade little pink sugar booties for the top of the cake, and decorated the two tiers with little stars swirling around the cake.  Méabh’s name is on building blocks on the cake board.
